My Story

 

Having an eye for fashion since the age 12 and dressing in a very unique way has always been a passion of mine.  

While growing up, I committed myself to my academic career and fulfilled the promise I made to my family, while fashion remained my passion. Following completion of a BSc Hons in Business Information Technology, I went on to study a Masters in Computing Science. Due to the difficulty of juggling family life, a full-time job, and my academic studies at such an early age, I decided to put them on hold. 

Despite working full-time and juggling family life, my passion for fashion remained the same.

Throughout the past 17 years, I have been involved in colour combinations for weddings, choosing and styling bridal parties as well as the design and styling of outfits for events. In addition I have advised and recommended several with clothing designs based on ones measurements and size. 

Now fast forward to today, after 17 years of convincing by friends, family members and clients to become a fashion designer, I decided to launch an online fashion store that combines Afrocentric fashion trends with modern trends at an affordable price for everyone. 

The recent Covid 19 pandemic gave me the opportunity to layout a plan and proposed structure. This is just the start with more to come.
